This is a quick summary of how this Tentative Agreement will benefit various different groups.
Reserves:
- Automatic check in/out – no more having to call scheduling to check in/out (new)
- No longer have to call in at the end of RAP, flight assignment, or duty period. If schedule has no further required flying, you are considered automatically released.
- 13 hour reserve availability period (RAP) (currently 14 hours)
- Changes to Ready/Hot Reserve
- 10 days/month cap on ready reserve (HRV) (currently no cap)
- New bucket system process for assigning HRV Reserves with 2 days of availability will be assigned first going in reverse order up to 6 days, with 1 day of availability being the last category
- Moving to this system will help spread out HRV assignments across more reserves and reduce the same people form always being assigned HRV multiple days in a row
- New FOLO (first out/last out) system with transparency (FAs can preference if they want to be first out or last out for trips and see where they are on the list)
- Reserves can add trips and partial trips from a lineholder (Trips and partial trips found on the trade board)
- Moving up the awarding timeline for Golden Day
Commuters:

- Keeping the current Commuter Hotel Allowance of $250 a month
- Alternate Deadhead “Selfing” will pay in both directions as if taking the original deadhead (Currently only from a flight assignment)
- Added ability to return to commuter city using selfbooking function if last leg of the trip is a deadhead, flight attendant will be provided positive space travel (within 50 states and Puerto Rico)
- Ability to self-book space positive travel to and from training from AA station that correlates to home of record, will be paid per diem and deadhead as if took originally scheduled deadhead flight
- Commuting flight attendants will be reimbursed $25/month for parking
