This Morning’s update from the Company – June 19th

Association of Flight Attendants-CWA
This Mornings Update from the Company:

Last nights IT transfer went well. They cannot overload the system, therefore they will begin with about 25 percent operations for the day.

Inflight Supervisors and Chief Pilots will be contacting crews with their updated or modified schedules and PNRs for deadheads. Do not call scheduling as you will not get through. If you are with a full complement crew, your captain may notify the whole crew of your schedule.

IROPS Hotel Information

Association of Flight Attendants-CWA
As flights begin to cancel this evening, you most likely will not be able to get through to scheduling. If you need a hotel, please follow this protocol communicated to AFA from the company.

For hotels: Flight Attendants should call either the CLT office at (704) 359-3247 or the Duty Manager at (937)732-4102. They should keep calling until they get a person. Don’t leave messages as they may be overlooked. Supervisors will put the requests in for a hotel. Flight Attendants should call the hotel to confirm a reservation is booked before heading to hotel. Travelliance is backed up, so it may take 30 + minutes to confirm the reservation.

Continued IROPS June 18

Association of Flight Attendants-CWA

Continued IROPS

With AFA’s request, the Company has agreed to extend our bid period to allow everyone extended time to bid for July Schedules. They bid period will now close tomorrow, June 19th at 8 am.
If you are able to commute to CLT, the Company will be reimbursing for hotels. Retain your receipts and submit with a Business Expense report to your base coordinator or email to your supervisor.
Critical Coverage Pay has been extended through Wednesday, June 20th,applicable to all bases.
PHL and DCA are planned to run as normal.
Rumors were circulating that the June 20th pay would be effected. The Company confirmed pay will not be effected. Pay reports were pulled and sent to the SSO, who operates on a different system, prior to the IT failure. Crew pay will be working to get the pay summaries loaded as quickly as possible.
You have all displayed the utmost patience during this difficult period and we commend you for doing so.  This certainly hasn’t been an easy last few days. AFA is here to assist in any way that we can, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to your reps at any time.
